A defiant Kevin Moses has blamed a regular regime of vitamins as the reason why he has been the latest trainer to be caught up in racing’s cobalt web as Racing NSW stewards prepare to open another inquiry into an irregular sample.

Stipes announced Moses was the fourth NSW trainer to be investigated over irregular levels of the substance, which has been detected in extreme doses in horses from a number of high-profile stables either side of the Tasman.

Moses’ irregular sample stems from a pre-race test of Felix Bay before he ran fifth in a Hawkesbury race last month.
