Andrew Williamson always knew about Bede Murray’s training ability from his annual raids on the Wagga carnival. And taking over one of Murray’s best horses, a triple stakes winner no less, was always going to come with a level of expectation.

“Bede was fantastic and I had a half-an-hour phone conversation with him when we bought the horse and I think the change of environment has done him the world of good,” the Sunshine Coast trainer said of Darci Be Good before Saturday’s $175,000 Ipswich Cup.
