After the intense tug-of-war of the last six months over the media and vision rights for Victorian racing, it seems it’s not so much about the package on offer but more the brinkmanship to stay in the fight.

The wagering giant has taken off the gloves in the past 24 hours and sent a clear message to the key players that it still has the strength and resolve to wrestle any advantage away from the Seven network and is not prepared to concede defeat.

Until Racing Victoria clubs unanimously choose, as recommended by RVL, the all-powerful Seven Network as its preferred carrier, Tabcorp will continue to fight.
