PETER and Paul Snowden will saddle horses in the famous Greg Kolivos colours as the high-profile owner spreads his horses around.

Kolivos became well known in racing circles when his champion galloper Pierrowon the 2012 2YO Triple Crown for Hall Of Fame trainer Gai Waterhouse.

The pair also won the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf with Diamond Drille as well as a stack of stakes races around the country.

Kolivos wants to spread his bloodstock around and is even considering sending a few horses to Melbourne.

“I’ve had shares in horses in Melbourne before and Gai isn’t the only trainer we’ve had training our horses,” Kolivos said.

“We’ll continue to have the majority of our horses with Gai but we’ll definitely look at spreading them around going forward.”

The perfect morning … Sport and Breakfast

AUSSIES Love Sport and Breakfast In Bed galloped together on the steeple grass on Tuesday and both look set to run big races this weekend.

The pair covered their last 600m in 35.4sec with the final 200m in 11.4sec.

John Sargent has just taken over the training of both horses and is leaning towards the Benchmark 85 Handicap over 1350m for Aussies Love Sport, who is also nominated for the Racing To Win Handicap (1400m).

“We can claim 2kg with Winona (Costin) and that makes him well placed in that race,” Sargent said.

Glencadam Gold attracting attention

TWO Group 1 winners on the comeback trail — 2012 Metropolitan Handicap winnerGlencadam Gold and 2013 Golden Slipper winner Overreach — continue to work well.

Glencadam Gold reeled off some impressive sectionals in his gallop. The son ofRefuse To Bend ran 36.5sec for his last 600m with the final 200m in 11sec.

Mirage seen to be quicky on improve

THE Peter Moody-trained Mirage looks a good chance of winning the Racing To Win Handicap — providing he goes straight.

Mirage was the horse that had the race shot to bits at Randwick on May 23 only to veer sharply off the course and throw it away.

The five-year-old has since won a trial by seven lengths and reeled off a slick 11.2sec for his last 200m for his gallop.

Najoom back on track for Tiara

NAJOOM won a trial at the Gold Coast on Tuesday proving the filly should be right to line up in Saturday week’s Group 1 Tatts Tiara.

The three-year-old was set to start favourite in last weekend’s Stradbroke Handicap before being ruled out through a leg injury.
