GLEN Boss has picked up the ride on Scissor Kick in Saturday’s Doomben 10,000.

The son of Redoute’s Choice comes off a last-start fifth in the BTC Cup, where he was shuffled back on the turn before making steady ground in the straight.

In other 10,000 jockey moves, Tim Bell will ride Rock Sturdy, while Blake Shinn sticks with Charlie Boy.

Godolphin will be represented by Generalife (Hugh Bowman) and Knoydart (James McDonald), with Sarajevo likely to run in the Fred Best Classic. Zac Purton jets in from Hong Kong to ride Sacred Star, who will be a late entry on Wednesday morning.

Bring Me The Maid will be ridden by Kerrin McEvoy, with Chad Schofield staying in the UK.

Trent Busuttin will decide after a gallop on Tuesday morning if El Roca runs in the Doomben 10,000, but yesterday he was leaning towards bypassing the race in preference to the QTC Cup the following week.

Decisions on Stradbroke tilts for Goodwood placegetters Lord Of The Sky and Under The Louvre are still pending.
