Racing Victoria chief steward Terry Bailey on Wednesday continued his probe into how four trainers ended up with irregularities relating to the outlawed substance cobalt at Flemington.

While his panel took further evidence from trainers Mark Kavanagh and Danny O’Brien, stewards also quizzed Tom Brennan, the stable vet for both trainers.

When asked why Peter Moody and Lee and Shannon Hope were not interviewed on Wednesday, Bailey said: “They are completely different cases and I wanted to speak to Kavanagh and O’Brien, as well as their stable vet.
