Peter Moody’s talented speedster Angels Beach headlines nominations for Saturday’s meeting at Caulfield.

The five-year-old mare, a Listed winner, has been entered for the third heat of the All Victorian Sprint Series (1000m) after performing very well in a recent jumpout.

The Mick Price-prepared Red Bomber will be out to continue his love affair with Caulfield, shooting for a third straight win on his home track, but he’ll have to contend with the likes of Hosting,Metaphorical and The Bowler.

Robert Smerdon’s Fontein Ruby, who failed to fire in the Group 1 Australasian Oaks last start, has been entered for a 2000m race against the three-year-olds.

Nautical, from the Nikki Burke stable, put in an eye-catching trial at Cranbourne on Monday morning and has been nominated for the first heat of the Leilani Series (1200m).
