On first appearances, Hurrura “wasn’t a girl’s horse”, he probably wasn’t a horse anyone would want anything to do with.

On debut at Rosehill in October 2009, Hurrara dumped Tim Clark and jumped the fence out of the mounting yard.

“He just got rid of me and was off,” Clark recalled. “I went out onto the course proper to get back on him and he went up again. He put me on the ground and then jumped the fence back into the mounting yard.
